I've been quite happy with this hoverboard. I got this for my 10 year old niece and she's had a blast. With her on board, this thing goes fairly fast. It's responsive to even fairly fine tilting or movements to adjust your speed and to turn. The bright blue color looks great in person, and the LED lights on the side add even more to the fun factor. Build quality is reasonable for the price. It's a largely plastic construction, but the plastics used feel fairly reasonable in terms of quality. As an adult, I certainly wasn't getting the same speed on this haha but it will work, just make sure you're under the 176lbs weight limit on this. You certainly won't be commuting with this kind of hoverboard, but for a bit of fun in the summer for the kids, this is great!

Granddaughter loves it! Has lights, can hook to phone for music. Stops if in the road to let you know a car is coming, so it was such a surprise how safe it. Quality made..

I bought this for my 10 year old son as a birthday present, my son learned it in just half an hour and it was much easier than we thought it would be. The quality is great and the box had everything we needed, no need to buy extra accessories, love it.

I got this to try out for myself because I'm within the weight range and I wanted to see how these work. It's really easy to use and balancing is actually not that tough, even for someone with limited coordination like me. I'm looking forward to using this more as the weather gets warmer, and I think this is a great hoverboard for the price.

There's some kids about 5/6 that come over about every week and they absolutely LOVE this thing.
Great way to keep them distracted and entertained for quite some time they didn't want to stop riding it, one finding one interest in it than the video game she was playing.
They were better at understanding how to use it than myself.

I bought this for my son, but I wanted to try it out for myself first before trusting him. As it turns out, he was nervous about using it so watched me do it in hopes of calming his fears.

There's no safety helmet, but I figured my carpeted living room could be used to try it out at slow speeds without too much risk.

I'm an engineer, so I researched the UL 2272 rating. So this skateboard has been tested for safety by an independent authority.

I'll probably try it outdoors myself too - even though it's designed for children and I'm an adult. It seems to be up to the task, at least for short distances and at low speeds. I also like that it doubles as an external Bluetooth speaker for my phone, so I can listen to music while riding!

I am very happy with this hoverboard! The color is a very pretty pink. The wheels light up and are very fun for kids! I even tried it out on the living room carpet it moves smoothly and feels good turning.

This is the first hoverboard I've tried, so I don't have anything else to compare it to in terms of responsiveness and smoothness. I'm not the most physically balanced person, but if you're a skateboarder, snowboarder, or wakeboarder/wakeboarder, you'll probably get the hang of it pretty quickly. It took me longer to feel confident with it.

I weigh less than 110 lbs and my significant other weighs between 170-175 lbs and supporting their weight is no problem. I haven't ridden the bike outdoors yet, as the weather has recently turned warm enough for outdoor riding. I chose to wear a helmet when I was learning because I don't trust myself to hit my head, but if you're already comfortable balancing on a skateboard then I think this skill is easy to pick up and your muscles are already used to other exercises so it works when riding this self-balancing hoverboard.

I got this hoverboard for my 12 year old skateboarding grandson when he comes to visit. I was sure that this hoverboard would be easy for him to use and a fun choice to enjoy when he gets bored.

Safety was my number 1 concern with regards to the electronics and wiring involved. It was a relief to see that it is UL2272 Approved. They even have their own special UL rating.

After reading the instructions I was very impressed with this hoverboard. It鈥檚 so wild when the wheels and the head lights, light up. These lights are very bright and are very easy to see at dusk into the night skies. Another plus is I was able to connect my music to the unit via Bluetooth and it worked flawlessly. The maximum speed is around 6+ miles per hour with a 3.1 mile range. The hoverboard has a self-balancing system with quality rubber tires non-slip pvc foot pads for safety. Of course I recommend getting safety gear before riding the first time such as helmet, knee pads, and gloves.

This hoverboard has been through rigorous testing and I feel it is very safe for my grandson to embark on! What a great gift this can make for any kids, birthday, graduation, or other celebration. I found the price to be a very good deal.

This hoverboard is super cool for the older kid age group. I'd say like 6, 7 years old and up. In fact, even small adults can use this as it can withstand up to 175 lbs!
If you're already super good on a skateboard or in rollerblades and have good balance, you will pick this up pretty quickly. It takes some practice just like everything else, but once you get the hang of it, it's loads of fun.
My 7 year old has good balance, but isn't very familiar with these types of things other than his bike. So trying something new is a bit of a challenge, but he's still trying! He puts his helmet on and gives it a go when he gets the chance.
The wheels are super cool as they have LED lights. You can also hook up your phone to play music out of its built-in speakers using Bluetooth. It is the dream of every kids or young teens dream. Heck, I wish I could ride the thing myself, but I'm way too heavy for it.
I highly recommend this hoverboard. It would make an excellent gift.

My kid loves it at first sight! The build quality is very decent and my kid like the shining wheel with music playing a lot.
I initially got it for my kid however my husband plays it for a while, he falls in love with it as well. He is 150 pounds and the board could hold him pretty well.
Now I need to buy another for the bigger ""kid"".

This product came without any scratches nor problems. It worked well and my kids had a lot of fun with it. Its had bright and colorful lights and did not cause any problems.

This hoverboard is really impressive! The material quality is awesome and it is very well made and sturdy.
As for the features, the lights are absolutely beautiful. My favorite feature is probably the self balancing, it makes it really easy to learn how to ride it for the first time. The bluetooth function is also pretty cool and the sound quality is actually surprising.
It is a little intimidating at first if you never rode a hoverboard before, but it is actually surprisingly easy to learn. It does actually ride very smooth. I had a TON of fun on this .. no matter your age, this thing is FUN!
I would definitely recommend this hoverboard, it's great all around and I haven't found anything negative about it whatsoever, everything works even better than expected and the quality is GREAT!

My girls love it and have been playing with it since we got it.

It seems pretty solid and very easy to maneuver.
I haven't found any down side to it.

The lights on the wheels make it really stand out and it is very colorful. You can also pair it with your phone via Bluetooth and it plays music, so it is really fun to be riding it and have the music on while the lights glow.

It also is pretty safe as it autmatically locks itself when it doesn't feels weight on it, or when you only have one foot on top and the other don't. It starts doing a beeping sound to let you know it is locked.

Definitely recommended.

So we tried twice to order this hoverboard for my youngest child. Both hoverboards arrived without incident, charged fairly quickly, and the surface functioned just fine. The Bluetooth connection and on-board speakers sounded fine. The title of the board says it is self-balancing. It doesn't sound critical at first, but it's really helpful and important when you're new to the board. The self-balancing feature keeps the board upright and stationary when you are not on it. It also keeps the skateboard balanced until both feet are on it and ready to use it. Without this feature, the skateboard will “wander” around, falling or moving before your feet are in place. This would make it unstable and difficult to get on and off.
