Ride Toronto: The Martin Goodman Trail

Richard DuBois |

An iconic city skyline with breathtaking waterfront views is just a few of the views you'll find when riding along the Martin Goodman Trail in Toronto. 56 kilometers of pristine views and paved paths that are ideal for electric scooters and e-bikes. Named after the former President and Editor-in-Chief of the Toronto Star for his influential impact on the city.

We like Toronto as whole thanks to its incredibly commuter-friendly design with plenty of bike paths and public transportation. Plenty of parks are dotted throughout the path. One of the newer sections of the Trail, Ontario Place, converted 8,000 square meters of parking lots into green spaces and pathways for pedestrians.

GOTRAX Canada hopes to see continued work on the Trail and further additions across Canada's cities that make them more commuter, electric scooter, and e-bike friendly for a more sustainable future. Wherever you end up riding be sure to ride safely and don't forget your helmet!
