No safety when pushing the bike

I purchased the Gotrax F2 expecting a safe and reliable bike, but I recently encountered a serious issue. While pushing the bike manually, it suddenly powered on and started running on its own. This unexpected activation caught me off guard and almost caused an accident.

The bike abruptly accelerated, and I narrowly avoided hitting a wall by quickly applying the brake. This was a terrifying experience, as such behavior is completely unacceptable for any bike. I’ve maintained the bike properly, so I suspect this might be an issue with the throttle, wiring, or control system.

Gotrax needs to address this problem immediately—whether through a recall, firmware update, or improved quality checks. I wouldn’t recommend this bike until this issue is resolved. Safety should always come first, and this malfunction is a major red flag.

Very comfortable ride with the speed that I wanted.

The bike is great for the price but a bit heavy if you ask me. But it rides great and is def very comfortable. I am adding a better brake system since I do not like mechanical brakes.

Is everything in the ad included, and is the battery removable?

Yes, everything you see in the ad is included with the bike. It comes with the battery, battery charger, display, front and rear fenders, rear rack, and more. Additionally, the battery is located in the downtube position and is removable.

I am 5 feet 1 in. Could I still touch the ground or am I too short for this bike

You should still be able to ride the bike. Our recommended height range is for the most comfortable riding experience, but a slight deviation from this range is still manageable.
How many teeth does the chain ring have?

The F2 bike comes with a 7-speed gear system with the following chainring sizes: 14/16/18/20/22/24/28 teeth, and you can switch gears. However, please note that the pedal assist speed is fixed for each gear. If you exceed the preset speed for a gear, the pedal assist will be interrupted.
