I’m thrilled that I can ride in pedal-assist mode (Level 5) most of the time during deliveries, reaching a top speed of 20 miles per hour. The 48-volt battery provides exceptional range, allowing me to ride for 3–4 hours every day while still having 2–3 bars of battery life left—that’s truly impressive! The seat is very comfortable and features built-in suspension. In pedal-assist Level 4, you can clearly feel the resistance when pedaling, but in Level 5, you don’t need to pedal hard at all. It’s a great deal, and I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Living in a small Toronto condo, the folding feature is a game-changer. It fits perfectly in my hallway closet. It’s light enough to take on the GO Train but powerful enough to zip through downtown traffic. The build quality is premium and the pedaling feels very natural.

I already had an e-bike here but I couldn’t ride it because of its weight and size. I’m a senior and my legs are not as strong as they used to be. I did a lot of research and I always ended up seeing or reading something about the folding Gotrax F1V2. I read and watched every review out there. I contacted customer service and dealt with Kilo who patiently answered all my questions. I ordered my F1V2 and it was delivered to my door 48 hours later here in Fredericton, NB. My husband set it up for me, inflated the tires and charged the battery. I took it out for a ride and absolutely loved it! It’s the perfect size for me. I love the bonuses that came with it. The little bag on the back is super nice quality! My husband went for a ride on it and he loves it so much that we are selling his e-bike and ordering another F1V2! :) If you are considering this bike just get it :)

This is my first e-bike and it is absolutely great for beginners. I have used it on pavement and dirt and gravel roads. I must say it handles very well. I would definitely purchase another e-bike from Gotrax if I decide to upgrade in the future.

I just got it last weekend. And took it out for its first ride today and I loved it! The bike was actually a little bigger than I was expecting for a fold up. But it’s still pretty manageable folding/unfolding it once you get the hang of it.

Anyway after a few rides, I can tell you the bike has more than enough power for what I got it for. Keeping it on power assist mode 2 or 3 should be fine for most normal riding. thanks to the pedal assist I did 10 km without even thinking and I didn’t go above pedal assist level 3!
But either way it’s great for casual riding but I don’t know if I’d recommend it for more serious commuting/climbing. Though it handles the small hills and road bridges around me fine.

So far this is a great casual/entry-level E bike for anyone wanting something fun to ride on weekends.

It's still probably better to just buy a non-foldable e-bike and get a carrier for your car. But...I have gotten many miles of use because of this bike's portability and manageable weight. I have a two commuter ebikes and an e-mtb, and my Gotrax F1 still gets plenty of use. For the price, I would recommend ebike fans to add a foldable like this to your stable.

If you haven't tried foldables, you should understand they are a compromise. You feel a bit like you're a clown on a teeny bicycle.

This is a solidly built bike. It came 90% assembled and was very easy to complete. All height adjustments are quick-release type. The interaction with the electronic control is brilliantly simple. I've had this bike for weeks and haven't had to recharge it yet.

Was a bit overwhelmed looking at all the options, but the F1 2.0 made it easy. Big battery so I don't worry about running out of juice, and it came with everything I needed right in the box. Light enough for me to handle, folds up small. Just a really straightforward, great bike to have.
